Responsibilities

-         Supporting the equity research arm of aclient to develop insightful understanding of investment target and itsindustry, including critical industry or mark analyses, competitivebenchmarking, opportunity assessments, and risk identification through in-depthprimary and secondary research

-         Building detailed financial models forcompanies under coverage

-         Creating equity research notes andpresentations that include analysis of economic and business cycles, industryvalue chain, market size, market segments, market shares, market drivers,market trends, products and services

-         Meeting with the management of companiesunder coverage, attending quarterly results conference calls, issuing quarterlyresult update reports, tracking company and sector developments and initiatingcoverage on uncovered stocks

-         Performing financial analyses includingfinancial statement analysis and valuation using various techniques includingDCF, SOTP, residual value and multiples approach

-         Discussing results and analysis with buy sideclients as well as answering any queries they might have

-         Coordinating with client sales team on clientpitches and relationship maintenance

Qualifications

-       Willing to work in Bangalore or Colombo

-       Native Chinese with strongcommand over English

-       Strong financial analytical and modelingskills

-       Solid report writing and communication skills

-       Ability to work effectively under time-sensitiveenvironment

-       Be able to take responsibility

-       Experienced in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

-       Excellent academic track record
