How can we make learning accessible to all?
1.We can think about people living in rural area – to make learning accessible to them, we need to resolve the basic communication issue, not only the connectivity, but also the bandwidth to allow interactive communication, even video communication. This must be done in a manner affordable to those people living in rural area.
2.We can also think about the disabled person – how the new technology can help the blind, deaf-mute to learn new things easily, etc.
3.Another angle would be how we can enable learning any time and any place, e.g. on subway, on bus, on car, etc.
What tools do we need when lifelong learning becomes necessary for everyone? What are the new tools and methodologies when learning becomes an online activity – and when learning is happening more and more away from school buildings:
1.The lifelong learning would include things like,develope a socialized educational organization,establish a study information network as well as a life-long educational system of family, society and school education integration.All kinds of scientific and cultural facilities such as the Cultural Center, library, museum, and activity center will all come within the educational scope.Then in order to make all these happen, we may need to additional tools to consolidate & manage different info sources, and enable easy access from anyone, any time and any place.
2.One might want to have tools that can log all the courses he/she has taken, and establish a personal knowledge database. What kind of tools can support such needs?
3.Collaboration may also be important in lifelong learning – we learn not only from book, but also from each other; not only from the professor, but also from fellow or pal. There will be obvious needs to have some collaboration tools.
4.How to make “learning” as a fun activity for Young generation? Think about what activities attract yourself the most →how to learn new things when doing such activities?
